Get the book ‘Understanding Palestine’ for FREE
Good news for people who like free e-books! This may also be pleasant for people who don’t like buying things online, or can’t afford to. You can now get Tariq Shadid’s 358-page book ‘Understanding Palestine’, entirely free of charge!
With this new option added, there are four ways to obtain this book: you can buy the paperback version on Amazon, you can buy the Kindle version online there, or you can get it from this website, which gives you a choice between an entirely FREE option, and a paid one. Read on to find out how!
Want to read some reviews first? Try this one, or this one in Dutch. Or look at this picture here, and take Robert Martin’s word for it, who endorses it regularly on his Facebook page.
How to get Understanding Palestine, the e-book version
It will only take you a few minutes to do this, and once you are done, the e-book will be emailed to you, usually within 24 hours. Sounds like a good deal, right?
So, what are the steps?
- Look below; you will see three Youtube videos.
- Share one of these three Youtube videos on social media. It could be Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, or whichever social media platform is your favorite.
- Take a screenshot of the share on your page, or your tweet, depending on how you shared it.
- It must be a NEW share; an old share doesn’t count. Make sure that your screenshot displays time and date.
- Send an email " target="_blank" rel="noopener">to docjazz(a)docjazz.com, with ‘Understanding Palestine’ as the subject of your email. Attach the screenshot to your email.
- That’s it! You will receive an email with a .zip attachment, containing the e-book. It’s a version that is suitable for use in Kindle.
- Don’t forget to read the ‘readme’ file that is included.
Any rules involved?
Well, just a few. The screenshot must be clear, and of a real social media share. You are welcome to add a positive comment to your share, but this is not required. It must be one of the three videos below. Other shares, even if they are related to Doc Jazz, do not count. That’s it. It’s really simple, and it doesn’t take more than a maximum of a few minutes to do!
Any alternatives?
Yes. If sharing on social media, for some reason, is an obstacle for you, you can send a message through the contact form that you will find on this website when you scroll down. You will then be presented with an option to buy the e-book through Paypal, at a much lower price than you would buying it through Amazon. Sounds reasonable, right?
Let’s do this!
Okay, here we go. The three videos are posted below. Check out which of these three appeals to you the most for sharing, and do your thing. If you wish to share all three of them: no problem at all, all the better!
1. Stare it in the Face
This is hip-hop. For those who like a gritty, powerful sound with a strong message.
2. Why the Innocent
This is a piano ballad, for those who prefer gentle music, with a deep message. The famous Tariq Ramadan recently endorsed this song!
3. It Takes Love
If sharing songs with a political message is uncomfortable for you, or unsuitable on your friends list, you can share this love song by Doc Jazz as an alternative.
Any questions?
You can ask anything, no problem at all! Please use the contact form at the bottom of the website. Thanks!
